About Binogi

Binogi is a multilingual, digital learning platform for students in grades 6-9. The platform consists of animated lessons and interactive quizzes. Students are able to study math and science in a language of their choosing. Audio tracks and subtitles are easily switched between languages.

Feedback from teachers

Our platform helps accelerate the integration of newcomers into the school environment. By making content accessible to everyone regardless of their first language, barriers to learning are reduced and access to education is increased.

Teachers in Sweden have been taking advantage of Binogi since 2014. With over 200,000 students in over 80 municipalities using the platform, Binogi is a staple in the Swedish classroom.

Digital, equitable learning

Binogi supports the Sustainable Development Goals(SDGs) by implementing Education for Sustainable Development(ESD) related content. Binogi helps to foster the development of students as global citizens.

Further development of native language

The learning success during both language acquisition and specific content understanding is proven to be greater if pupils for whom English is an additional language, first learn content in their mother tongue - and only then learn the English equivalent.

Animated Videos

Animated videos are at the core of what Binogi has to offer. Everyday situations help to explain complex lessons in a simple and interesting manner. Scripts are written by field specialists and are then finished by our team of animators and audio engineers. Each lesson is then localized to each country and language.

The combination of audio, visuals, context and writing allows students to understand and grasp difficult topics more quickly. The animated videos are between 3 and 5 minutes long to keep the students' attention and to ensure a high level of engagement.

Quizzes

For each lesson, there are three quizzes with varying levels of difficulty. Quizzes help to reinforce key concepts and make the learning experience fun. Students are incentivized to complete quiz questions by providing them with points for correct answers.

The teacher section provides an overview of student and class performance. Quiz results help determine where students are succeeding and where they are facing difficulties.

The teacher section simplifies the management of classes, study groups and students. Easily assign videos and quizzes to students for completion. Easy to understand results make it possible to compare the success of individual students as well as the perfomance of the whole plass. This makes it easier to address individual learning needs and lesson plan.
